RANCHI – The Meteorological Centre in Ranchi has forecast a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C during the next two days. This will be followed by a drop of 2-4°C during the subsequent three days.

Shallow to moderate fog is likely in isolated areas from January 5 to January 7.

The state is expected to experience dry weather conditions during the next seven days.

No significant rainfall or thunderstorms have been reported in the last 24 hours.

The lowest visibility of 400 meters was recorded at Daltonganj at 4:00 AM.
