SERAIKELA – In observance of Road Safety Month 2025, the District Transport Office of Seraikela-Kharsawan conducted a special awareness drive on the Good Samaritan policy on January 2, 2025. The campaign aimed to educate road users and shopkeepers along the Seraikela-Chaibasa State Highway 05 about the benefits of this policy.

Promoting Community Support

The initiative focused on spreading the message that helping road accident victims is an act of humanity and responsibility. Citizens were informed that the Jharkhand government recognizes such individuals as Good Samaritans, ensuring protection and appreciation for their efforts. Shopkeepers and passersby were urged to act without hesitation in emergency situations.

During the campaign, officials emphasized the slogan “क्योंकि हमें है आपकी परवाह” (Because we care for you). The program aimed to foster a community spirit where aiding accident victims becomes a collective responsibility, ensuring timely support and saving lives.
