JAMSHEDPUR – Veteran railway officer Tarun Huria has assumed the role of Divisional Railway Manager at Chakradharpur Division of South Eastern Railway.
The 1993 batch Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers officer took charge on December 28. His appointment brings three decades of diverse experience to the division.
Previous Assignments
Huria’s railway career began in March 1995. Since then, he has served in several strategic positions across the country.
Moreover, he handled crucial responsibilities as Chief Rolling Stock Engineer at Western Railway. His expertise extends to workshop management at Lower Parel.
Ministry Experience
The new DRM previously worked with the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi. He managed significant projects during this tenure.
Furthermore, his role as Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer at Konkan Railway demonstrated his leadership abilities. His contributions to infrastructure development were noteworthy.
