Thieves Strike Home in Kitadih, Steal Jewelry and Cash Worth Lakhs

JAMSHEDPUR – Burglars broke into a house in Kitadih and stole jewelry and cash while the family attended a religious program.

The incident occurred at Durjen Singh’s residence. The family found the main door locked from outside upon return.

Moreover, the family discovered scattered belongings inside after breaking the lock. The Godrej safe was broken open.

Investigation Underway

The thieves made off with approximately Rs 35,000 in cash. They also stole valuable jewelry from the safe.

Furthermore, police have begun investigating the case. Meanwhile, forensic teams collected evidence from the scene.

Recent Crime Pattern

This burglary follows similar incidents in the area. Three houses were targeted last month in comparable circumstances.

In addition, police have increased night patrols in the locality. Local residents have been advised to install security cameras.

Community Response

The incident occurred during Guru Tegh Bahadur’s martyrdom day event. Many residents had attended the program.

Moreover, locals have demanded increased police presence. The Resident Welfare Association plans to hire private security guards.
