JAMSHEDPUR – Members of Akhil Bhartiya Grahak Panchayat met with subdivision officials to discuss milk quality and plastic usage during National Consumer Rights Fortnight.
The organization’s Jharkhand Vice President Anjel Upadhyay raised concerns about milk adulteration. Environmental wing chief Anita Sharma emphasized plastic ban implementation.
Consumer Protection Focus
The consumer body has been active since 1974. It continues to work towards raising public awareness about consumer rights.
District President Pappu Singh and Secretary Shambhu Jaiswal attended the meeting. Several other members also participated in the discussion.
Official Response
The subdivision officer appreciated the concerns raised. Additionally, they promised support for addressing these issues.
The organization pledged to assist in consumer awareness programs. They are currently observing Consumer Day Fortnight celebrations.
