JAMSHEDPUR – Kaushik Modi has officially taken charge as the new Chair of the CII Young Indians (Yi) Jamshedpur Chapter, succeeding outgoing Chair Udit Agarwal. Alongside him, Shruti Jhunjhunwala has been appointed as Co-Chair for the 2024-2025 term.

Recognition of Contributions

The announcement was made during the annual ceremony of the CII Young Indians Jamshedpur Chapter, where the new executive committee members were honored. Chief Guest and CII Jharkhand Council Chairman Ranjot Singh praised the chapter’s leadership for successfully organizing numerous impactful initiatives throughout the year.

Dillu Parikh, Chairman of CII Jamshedpur Zonal Council, expressed optimism that Young Indians would continue its momentum in the coming year. During the event, the annual report, presented by Udit Agarwal, showcased the chapter’s key accomplishments, including over 550 programs conducted in the past year.

Commitment to Growth and Impact

Addressing the gathering, Kaushik Modi shared his vision for the future, stating, “It is both humbling and inspiring to stand here as Chair for 2025. I accept this responsibility with great enthusiasm and a deep sense of purpose.”

Modi applauded the milestones achieved under Udit Agarwal’s leadership and promised to sustain the momentum. “The chapter has achieved extraordinary success with over 550 programs in one year. I pledge to build on this success and take Young Indians to greater heights,” he added.

Modi emphasized the importance of dreaming big for the city and positively impacting lives. He concluded his speech with, “Let’s make 2025 truly exceptional.”

Active Role of Shruti Jhunjhunwala

New Co-Chair Shruti Jhunjhunwala, a long-standing member of the chapter for over eight years, has actively contributed to initiatives like Masoom and Road Safety. She also serves on the CII National Governing Council.

Acknowledgment of Partnerships

Outgoing Chair Udit Agarwal thanked partner organizations, including Life, Indian Red Cross Society, Civil Defense, South Eastern Railway, Narcotics Control Bureau, Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Jamshedpur Hoteliers Association, for their invaluable support.

Schools, colleges, teachers, and principals were also appreciated for their collaboration throughout the year.
