JAMSHEDPUR – The Adityapur Municipal Corporation has successfully restored water supply after repairing a major pipeline beneath the railway tracks.

Deputy Municipal Commissioner Parul Singh inspected the repair work at Sharma Basti. The project was completed ahead of schedule.

“Thousands of residents will now receive regular water supply,” said a civic body official familiar with the project.

Infrastructure Recovery

The damaged pipeline under the railway line had caused significant water wastage. Moreover, the leakage disrupted supply to numerous residential areas.

Meanwhile, the repair work required NOC from railway authorities. Additionally, teams worked round the clock to fix the infrastructure.

Community Impact

The restoration has brought relief to numerous households. Furthermore, the repair will prevent wastage of lakhs of liters of water.

On the other hand, the swift completion has helped address public grievances. Besides, the corporation plans regular maintenance checks.
