Students participate in presentations to mark Human Rights Day

JAMSHEDPUR – Human Rights Day was celebrated at JKS College, Mango, on Tuesday with great enthusiasm. The event began with an inaugural address by Acting Principal Dr. Mohit Kumar, who explained the historical background and significance of human rights.

As part of the celebrations, a PowerPoint presentation competition on human rights was organized for the students. The team of Naib and Nagma secured the first position, while Zaid and Sufiyan claimed the second position. The group of Sohail and Zeeshan secured the third spot.

The event saw the presence of several faculty members, including Dr. Mohit Kumar, Dr. Sanjay Sinha, Prof. G. Rama, Prof. Rupesh Rajak, Prof. Lakshmi Murmu, Dr. Shweta Srivastava, Dr. Manisha Singh, and Prof. Basanti Priya.

Students Sania and Firoza conducted the program efficiently, while Prof. G. Rama delivered the vote of thanks to conclude the ceremony. Organizers and volunteers, including Ankit, Reshma, Nahid, Faizan, Shoaib, Saba, Junaid, Sania, and Firoza, played vital roles in making the event a success.

The program highlighted the importance of human rights awareness among students and encouraged active participation in educational activities promoting social values.
