JAMSHEDPUR – The Forest Department has launched ambitious green projects around Dalma foothills, developing three eco-parks worth ₹39 crores.

The development marks a significant environmental initiative. The department aims to expand green coverage.

Moreover, these parks will serve multiple purposes. "These projects will strengthen our forest protection efforts," states DFO Saba Alam Ansari.

Major Development Plans

The Harina Temple area will host a new park. The ₹24-crore project spans 28.10 hectares.

Furthermore, this park will feature diverse facilities. The amenities include fountains and swimming pools.

Meanwhile, Chakulia receives an Ecological Diversity Park. The ₹15-crore project focuses on sustainable entertainment.

Additional Features and Timeline

In addition, Govindpur’s Khakripada area gets an Environment Park. The project covers 10 acres.

Besides, the park will include unique features. A mud house adds traditional charm.

Environmental Impact

The initiative promises significant ecological benefits. The projects enhance local biodiversity.

On the other hand, tourism opportunities expand. The parks combine recreation with conservation.

Furthermore, these developments protect forest lands. The projects complete within this financial year.
