RANCHI – Chief Minister Hemant Soren orchestrated a significant administrative reorganization across key positions in Jharkhand.

Anurag Gupta assumed DGP role. He moved from CID Ranchi.

Meanwhile, former DGP Ajay Kumar Singh received new responsibilities.

Singh will head Police Housing Corporation. He becomes MD-cum-Chairman.

Moreover, Deoghar welcomed back Ajit Peter Dungdung. He returns as SP.

"Administrative stability is our priority," noted a senior official. "These changes strengthen governance."

Dungdung previously served as JAP 5 Commandant.

Furthermore, Amber Lakra moved to Dhanbad. He will command JAP 3.

Besides, Lakra gets additional charge. He oversees Railway SP duties.

Ranchi saw leadership change too. Manjunath Bhajantri becomes Deputy Commissioner.

Meanwhile, Avinash Kumar joined CM’s office. He serves as Principal Secretary.

Additionally, Kumar handles multiple portfolios. These include Energy Department responsibilities.

The reorganization follows post-election requirements. Personnel Department issued formal orders.

Since 2019, Jharkhand saw three major reshuffles. This marks the most comprehensive change.

The state aims to improve administrative efficiency. New appointments promise fresh perspectives.
