RANCHI – Security forces engaged in a fierce gunfight with Naxal insurgents in Manika’s Sikit-Bandua forest area, resulting in weapon seizures.
ASP Kumar Gaurav spearheaded the counter-insurgency mission.

Meanwhile, the Naxal group initiated hostile fire upon spotting police forces.
"The encounter demonstrated our readiness to counter extremist threats," stated a senior intelligence official.
