JAMSHEDPUR – Two athletes and a coach from Jharkhand’s Tata Steel Roll Ball Center are set to represent India at the prestigious Asian Championship.

The championship will showcase emerging talent at the state-of-the-art facility. Moreover, teams from nations like Iran and Malaysia are expected to participate.

The Manohar Parrikar Indoor Stadium will host this five-day sporting extravaganza. Meanwhile, India aims to improve upon their silver medal from the previous edition.

"Our rigorous training regime has prepared us well for the championship," remarked a team insider. Furthermore, the national squad has undergone intensive preparation throughout the year.

In addition, Tata Steel’s Roll Ball program has produced multiple national players since 2015. The facility offers world-class training infrastructure to budding athletes.

However, the Indian contingent faces tough competition from defending champions Thailand. Besides, teams from Nepal and Bangladesh have shown remarkable improvement recently.
