JAMSHEDPUR – A fire broke out last night at a hardware shop in Jamshedpur’s Parsudih market, allegedly due to a short circuit.
The fire, which engulfed the store in moments, caused panic among people nearby.
Two firefighting vehicles reached the scene promptly after receiving an alert, and within 30 minutes, firefighters had managed to control the blaze.
By the time the fire was extinguished, the shop’s entire stock had been reduced to ashes.
According to the shop owner, the fire resulted in losses amounting to several lakhs.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and quick response from fire personnel prevented further damage.
