JAMSHEDPUR – At a recent rally held at Mango Gandhi Maidan, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi paused his speech when the Azaan, or Islamic call to prayer, was heard from a nearby mosque.

During the rally, which saw a significant gathering, Gandhi was speaking energetically to the audience when the Azaan began. Observing the situation, local minister and Congress candidate from Jamshedpur West, Banna Gupta, approached Gandhi on stage and suggested that he halt his address momentarily out of respect.
