JAMSHEDPUR – Sub-Divisional Officer Shatabdi Majumdar held a crucial meeting to ensure comprehensive preparations for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations in Jamshedpur.

The meeting brought together departmental officials and private company representatives.

Discussions centered on safety measures, cleanliness, and logistical arrangements for the festival.

Major focus areas included immersion ghat maintenance and uninterrupted power supply.

Moreover, the SDO emphasized meticulous planning and coordination among all entities involved.

Municipal bodies were instructed to thoroughly clean immersion ghats and Puja pandals.

Furthermore, water tankers will be deployed to provide drinking water at all pandals.

The Electricity Department must ensure uninterrupted power supply throughout the festival.

Meanwhile, the Road Construction Department was tasked with necessary road repairs.

Tata Steel and Tata Motors were asked to contribute to infrastructure maintenance.

Additionally, TSUISL will handle cleaning of ghats and provide water tankers.

The Civil Defence team will arrange for divers and volunteers at immersion sites.

On the other hand, the Health Department will keep ambulances and medical teams on standby.

Tata Motors will deploy drone cameras for crowd monitoring in their operational areas.

The Railway Administration is responsible for cleanliness near their stations.

SDO Majumdar stressed the importance of coordinated efforts for a safe celebration.

Dangerous zones at immersion ghats will be clearly marked to prevent accidents.

Private companies are expected to play a significant role in festival preparations.
