• JMM counters with ‘Kab Milega’ campaign highlighting state issues

• CM Soren writes to PM about Rs 1.36 lakh crore unpaid coal royalties

RANCHI – As Jharkhand’s Assembly elections approach, political tensions rise with the BJP and JMM launching opposing campaigns.

The BJP initiated its ‘Mila Kya’ campaign, questioning JMM’s fulfilled promises.

In response, JMM announced the ‘Kab Milega’ campaign, addressing state issues.

Meanwhile, Chief Minister Hemant Soren wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The letter addressed Rs 1.36 lakh crore in unpaid coal royalty dues.

Soren cited a Supreme Court decision supporting the state’s right to collect royalties.

Moreover, he emphasized that unpaid dues were hindering Jharkhand’s development.

The CM urged Modi to ensure interest payment on overdue amounts to Coal India.

JMM central spokesperson Vinod Pandey accused BJP of spreading misinformation.

He criticized BJP leaders for not pressuring the central government on royalty payments.

Furthermore, Pandey claimed people had recognized BJP’s divisive politics.

The BJP campaign aims to highlight unfulfilled promises by the ruling JMM.

On the other hand, JMM’s campaign focuses on the Modi government’s stance towards Jharkhand.

Soren asserted that unpaid dues were delaying welfare scheme implementations.

The political clash underscores the growing tensions ahead of the Assembly elections.

Both parties are leveraging different strategies to sway voter opinion.

The issue of unpaid coal royalties has become a central point of contention.

JMM accuses BJP of ignoring Jharkhand’s true interests and concerns.

The outcome of this political debate may significantly influence the upcoming elections.

Voters are caught between conflicting narratives from the two major parties.
