JAMSHEDPUR – The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has declared its intention to contest the forthcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections with full force.

Dr. Pawan Pandey, national general secretary of NCP’s youth wing, announced the party’s decision.

The announcement came during a meeting at the party’s Dimna office in Kolhan division.

Moreover, observers and co-observers have been appointed for each Kolhan constituency.

These appointees are tasked with submitting potential candidate lists within days.

The party plans to announce its official candidates after reviewing these submissions.

NCP’s move aims to regain its lost national party status.

In addition to Jharkhand, the party will contest elections in Maharashtra, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir.

The party had previously lost its national recognition due to lack of representatives.

Furthermore, NCP has appointed observers for various constituencies in the Kolhan region.

D. Nageshwar Rao and Shailendra Jha will oversee Jamshedpur East.

Meanwhile, Anwar Hussain and Vivek Mukhi are assigned to Jamshedpur West.

Other constituencies, including Ichagarh, Baharagora, and Jugsalai, also have designated observers.

The party’s strategy indicates its commitment to strengthening its presence in Jharkhand.

By contesting multiple states, NCP aims to expand its political footprint nationally.
