Meanwhile, the Subarnarekha River is approaching its critical point, measuring 118.84 meters at the Mango Bridge site.

Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal has appealed to residents along both rivers to remain vigilant and prioritize safety.

Authorities strongly advise against venturing near the riverbanks to prevent potential loss of life or property.
