JAMSHEDPUR – Local medical associations unite to demand justice for a murdered junior female doctor and stronger protective measures for healthcare professionals.

Outraged by the lack of progress in the case, members of various medical bodies in Jamshedpur have raised their voices against the recent murder of a junior female doctor in Kolkata.

During a press conference at the IMA Building in Sakchi, doctors expressed their deep concern over the incident.

Moreover, JOGS President Vinod Agarwal emphasized the urgent need for justice and better protection for medical professionals.

In addition, IMA Secretary Dr. Saurabh Chaudhary echoed these sentiments, calling for immediate action.

The medical community also reiterated their demand for the implementation of the Medical Protection Act.

Furthermore, several female doctors, including Dr. Asha Gupta and Dr. Ranjana Joshi, voiced their concerns at the conference.

They specifically called for the harshest punishment for those responsible for the tragic incident.

Meanwhile, many female doctors from Jamshedpur attended the conference to show their support for these demands.

On the other hand, the lack of action, even after a month since the incident, has further fueled the outrage among the medical fraternity.

The doctors stressed the importance of creating a safer work environment for healthcare professionals.
