JAMSHEDPUR – A vibrant health and wellness initiative, the AIWC Walkathon, brought together over 40 participants at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.
The event commenced with an energetic Zumba session led by the ‘Fast Step’ team.
Participants then embarked on a 2.4 km walk, completing six rounds of the athletics tracks.
A refreshing cool-down session concluded the walkathon, leaving attendees feeling revitalized.
Tata Steel’s Sports department coordinated the event, with key team members ensuring its smooth execution.
"We’re thrilled to see such enthusiastic participation in our wellness initiative," remarked Vibhuti Adesara, Head of Events & Training Centres at Tata Steel.
The All India Women’s Conference (AIWC), a longstanding Tata Steel partner, organized the walkathon to promote community health.
AIWC President Parul Mangal served as the Chief Guest, while Executive Member Raveen Duggal attended as Guest of Honor.
Addressing the gathering, Mangal expressed pride in AIWC’s collaboration with Tata Steel.
