Handball Tournament Crowns Jamshedpur St. Mary’s Hindi Champions
Boys and girls teams from St. Mary’s Hindi triumph over Day Boarding in finals
Jharkhand’s Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department hosted a successful handball competition, showcasing young athletic talent.
JAMSHEDPUR – A handball tournament at RD Bhatta Center in Bistupur saw St. Mary’s Hindi teams clinch victories in both boys’ and girls’ categories.
The event featured participation from four boys’ teams and four girls’ teams, providing a platform for young athletes to display their handball skills.
Handball Secretary Khurshid Khan and DSO Avneesh Kumar Tripathi attended the competition, offering encouragement to the participants.
In the boys’ final, St. Mary’s Hindi emerged victorious against Day Boarding.
The girls’ category mirrored this outcome, with St. Mary’s Hindi defeating Day Boarding to claim the championship title.
Day Boarding secured the runner-up position in both the boys’ and girls’ divisions.
The tournament served as an excellent opportunity for young talents to demonstrate their passion and abilities in handball.
Organized by the Tourism, Art Culture, Sports and Youth Affairs Department of Jharkhand, the event highlighted the state’s commitment to promoting sports among youth.
The RD Bhatta Center in Bistupur proved to be an ideal venue for hosting this competitive event.
