Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer Releases Final Voter List

Ahead of the Jharkhand Assembly elections, the CEO announces key statistics from the voter list.

The Jharkhand Chief Electoral Officer released the final publication of the revised voter list in preparation for the upcoming Assembly elections.

RANCHI – The Chief Electoral Officer of Jharkhand, K Ravi Kumar, announced the final voter list publication ahead of the state Assembly elections.

In a press conference, K Ravi Kumar stated that the revised list was prepared following the guidelines of the Election Commission of India.

As per the final publication, the state’s estimated population stands at 4,00,06,288, with a total of 2,57,78,149 registered voters.

The list reveals that there are 1,30,65,449 male voters, 1,27,12,266 female voters, and 434 third-gender voters.

The state’s gender ratio is 973, and the voter-population ratio is 64.43.

Kumar also mentioned that Jharkhand has a total of 29,562 polling stations to accommodate voters during the elections.

He emphasized that the voter list is crucial for ensuring a fair and transparent election process.

"The revised voter list reflects our commitment to upholding electoral integrity," Kumar stated.

The event highlighted the importance of these figures as Jharkhand prepares for a critical electoral process.
