BJP Slams FIR Against Rally Participants in Jharkhand
Shiv Shankar Singh accuses Hemant government of suppressing youth voices
BJP leader Shiv Shankar Singh strongly condemns FIR filed against party members and supporters after Yuva Aakrosh Rally.
JAMSHEDPUR – BJP leader Shiv Shankar Singh has vehemently criticized the Jharkhand government for filing an FIR against 42 named individuals and 12,000 unknown participants of the recent Yuva Akrosh Rally.
The rally, organized by BJP Yuva Morcha on August 25 at Ranchi’s Morabadi Ground, protested alleged unfulfilled promises by the Hemant Soren-led government.
Singh accused the state administration of "misusing government machinery" to suppress opposition voices.
"First the theft and then the arrogance!" Singh exclaimed, referring to the government’s actions as a sign of nervousness.
The BJP leader alleged that the FIR was an attempt to intimidate youth participants and silence dissent.
Singh expressed concern over what he termed the government’s "dictatorial attitude" towards public demonstrations.
The Yuva Akrosh Rally saw a massive turnout of BJP youth activists demanding accountability from the Hemant government.
According to Singh, the large-scale participation indicates growing dissatisfaction among Jharkhand’s youth.
The BJP has warned of intensifying protests against what they perceive as the government’s authoritarian approach.
Singh stated, "The BJP will not tolerate the dictatorial attitude of the Hemant government towards the public."
