VHP to Celebrate 60th Foundation Day Across Jamshedpur from August 24 to September 1

VHP plans events in various parts of Jamshedpur to mark the 60th anniversary of its foundation on Shri Krishna Janmashtami.

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) will celebrate its 60th Foundation Day across Jamshedpur from August 24 to September 1, organizing events at various locations in the city.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Jamshedpur Mahanagar Committee, under the leadership of Mahanagar President Ajay Gupta, held a significant meeting at Tulsi Bhavan, Bistupur, to plan the celebration of VHP’s 60th Foundation Day.

The meeting was attended by VHP committee members and 13 block leaders.

District Secretary Chandrika Bhagat shared details of the program strategy formulated during the VHP Koderma Province Executive Committee meeting.

The focus of the meeting was on the achievements and challenges faced by the Hindu society since the VHP’s inception on Shri Krishna Janmashtami in 1964, with an emphasis on strengthening the community to tackle future challenges.

Singhbhum Department Co-Secretary Arun Singh suggested involving various community members, including retired military officers, IPS officers, and city intellectuals, in the events.

Ajay Gupta announced that a grand event would be organized at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur on September 1 to mark the occasion.

Each block has been tasked with organizing VHP Foundation Day events at different locations in the city from August 24 to August 31.

Newly appointed members of the Jamshedpur Mahanagar Committee were honored with saffron robes during the meeting.

The meeting was attended by prominent members, including Singhbhum Department Co-Secretary Arun Singh, Gauraksha Chief Montu Dubey, Service Chief Deepak Verma, Jamshedpur Mahanagar Organization Secretary Sanjay Singh, District Secretary Chandrika Bhagat, Vice President Gopirao, District Co-Secretary Uttam Kumar Das, Bajrang Dal Coordinator Munna Dubey, and others.
