Ethikos 2024: Kerala Public School Kadma Hosts Annual Inter-School Fest

16 schools participate in event promoting ethics and SDGs; Little Flower School emerges victorious

Kerala Public School Kadma’s fifth annual inter-school fest, Ethikos, brought together 377 students to promote ethics and sustainable development.

JAMSHEDPUR – Kerala Public School Kadma’s Ethikos 2024 gathered 377 students from 16 schools, focusing on ethics and sustainable development goals.

The event, held at Swapan Auditorium on August 17, commenced at 7:30 AM with participants from grades IX to XII.

Shalini Sulakshana, Business Ethics Deployment Manager at Tata Steel, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

Other notable attendees included Sharat Chandran, Director of Kerala Public Schools, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee, and Headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar.

Ethikos 2024 aimed to instill ethical values through competitions based on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The fest featured ten diverse events, including salsa and robotic dance, Sufi song, and a futuristic fashion-themed ramp walk.

Literary and online competitions were also part of the program.

A prayer song and ceremonial lamp lighting set a solemn tone for the event.

In her welcome address, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee emphasized the fest’s role in fostering overall student growth.

Director Sharat Chandran motivated participants, stating, "Upholding ethical behavior and strong character is crucial for your future success. Let Ethikos be a stepping stone towards that goal."

Little Flower School clinched the top spot at Ethikos 2024.

Vidya Bharti Chinmaya Vidyalaya and Kerala Public School Gamharia secured the first and second runner-up positions, respectively.

Senior School Coordinator T. Veena delivered the vote of thanks, followed by the national anthem to conclude the event.
