He added: “The various Employment Linked Incentive schemes are a positive step that will boost employment, particularly in manufacturing, and support economic development. The impetus on education and skilling will empower youth to meet the demands of a dynamic job market.”

He also said: "Government support plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful transition of these industries," Narendran emphasized, expressing keen interest in the forthcoming details about the regulations of the "Indian Carbon Market."

Overall, the steel industry leader, seen as one of the industry’s main voices, praised the budget’s emphasis on education and skilling, highlighting its positive impact.

"We also commend the Government’s intention to develop a roadmap for emission targets in ‘hard to abate’ industries. Government support is crucial for the successful transition of these industries. We await further details on the regulations pertaining to the "Indian Carbon Market," he further commented.

Narendran’s remarks have brought optimism to the steel industry’s positive outlook on the budget’s ability to stimulate demand and promote long-term growth.
