A man attempting to steal a scooter near the Shardul Factory in Daiguttu, Mango, late Sunday evening attacked a Tiger Mobile police officer with a knife.

JAMSHEDPUR – Late Sunday evening, a man attempting to steal a scooter near the Shardul Factory in Daiguttu, Mango, attacked a Tiger Mobile police officer with a knife.

The officer narrowly escaped injury.

With the help of local residents, the police apprehended the thief and took him to Mango police station.

The man was trying to flee after stealing the scooter when the Tiger Mobile officer arrived at the scene.

Upon receiving information about the theft, the officer chased and caught the man.

In an attempt to escape, the thief attacked the officer with a knife, but the officer managed to avoid serious harm.

The police, with the assistance of local residents, captured the man and took him to the station for questioning.
