JAMSHEDPUR – The district administration has issued a warning after reports of fraud in the Chief Minister’s May-Kui Self-Reliance Scheme surfaced.

Unauthorized individuals are allegedly distributing fake forms and collecting money under the guise of this scheme.

False Forms and Illegal Collection

The administration has clarified that no official forms for the scheme have been released.

Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal received reports that some people are distributing fake forms and collecting money from unsuspecting individuals.

Mittal stated, “When the scheme is officially launched, forms will be distributed free of charge.”

He warned that any reports of fraudulent activities related to the scheme would result in strict legal action.

Background of Fraud in Jharkhand

Jharkhand has seen various instances of fraud, including exam paper leaks and misuse of government schemes.

The latest incident involves fraudsters preemptively releasing forms for the May-Kui Self-Reliance Scheme, even before its official launch.

These fake forms are being filled out and money is being extorted from beneficiaries.

Administrative Response

Upon learning about the scam, the East Singhbhum district administration quickly took action.

Deputy Commissioner Mittal issued a public advisory warning against the fake forms.

He emphasized that any future forms related to the scheme would be distributed free of charge.

Strict Action Against Fraudsters

The administration has vowed to take stringent legal action against those involved in spreading misinformation and distributing fake forms.

Mittal stated, “We will identify and take strict legal action against individuals involved in such fraudulent activities.”
