A man allegedly jumped in front of a moving train near Jugsalai rail gate, resulting in his death.
JAMSHEDPUR – A tragic incident occurred near the Jugsalai rail gate where an unidentified 35-year-old man committed suicide by jumping in front of the Ranchi Intercity train on the Mumbai-Howrah down line.
The Jugsalai police were informed of the incident, and they quickly arrived at the scene to take possession of the body and begin their investigation.
The man’s body was found in two pieces, with the upper half on the railway track while the lower half was missing.
The train was heading to Tatanagar station when the incident happened under the railway overbridge.
Eyewitness Samir was reported saying that they were standing under the railway overbridge when they saw the man suddenly jump in front of the approaching train.
Samir, reportedly, stated, "We saw him jump in front of the train; it was a clear case of suicide."
The police are continuing their investigation to gather more details about the incident and identify the deceased.
