Deepak Prakash Appointed BJP Whip in Rajya Sabha

Former state president takes on dual roles, including co-in-charge of Bihar BJP.

Deepak Prakash, BJP Rajya Sabha MP and former state president, has been appointed as the BJP Whip in the Rajya Sabha.

RANCHI – Deepak Prakash, a Member of Parliament in the Rajya Sabha from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and former state president, has been given the responsibility of being the BJP Whip in the Rajya Sabha.

Prakash expressed his gratitude to the party leadership for giving him this new responsibility. He emphasized his commitment to approaching the role with honesty and dedication.

He promised to effectively address the issues that are relevant to his new position.

Prakash, besides being the Rajya Sabha Whip, has also been given the responsibility of co-in-charge of Bihar BJP.

On July 5th, BJP President JP Nadda confirmed this dual responsibility through a letter.

Prakash said, "I feel incredibly grateful for the trust that the party leadership has shown in me. I will do my best to carry out my responsibilities with the utmost honesty and dedication."

The appointments showcase Prakash’s important position within the party and his dedication to helping it thrive.
