Weather department issues yellow alert for thunderstorms in multiple areas.

RANCHI – Various districts across Jharkhand, including the Kolhan region, experienced rainfall on Thursday, providing some respite from the sweltering heat.

Jamshedpur registered a maximum temperature of 36.8 degrees, with Ranchi at 33.4 degrees, Saraikela-Kharsawan at 38.1 degrees, and West Singhbhum at 34.4 degrees.

The Ranchi Meteorological Center has issued a yellow alert for Friday, warning of thunderstorms and rain in several districts.

The alert covers Garhwa, Palamu, Chatra, Koderma, Giridih, Deoghar, Dumka, Godda, Sahebganj, Pakur, Jamtara, Dhanbad, Bokaro, Ranchi, Lohardaga, Latehar, Gumla, Simdega, Khunti, East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum, and Saraikela-Kharsawan.
