Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur plant will undergo a two-day block closure starting June 17 to manage vehicle demand and work orders.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur plant has announced a block closure on June 17, resulting in the plant being closed for two days including the weekly holiday on Sunday.

Work will resume after the two-day closure.

The company has been implementing block closures regularly to manage vehicle demand and reduce work orders.

During this period, there will be no work in the plant, and all employees and officers will be on leave.

Employees will receive approximately 50 percent of their salary during the block closure.

In cases where employees are required to work during the block closure, they will receive a separate written order.

A circular detailing the block closure will be issued by the plant head.
