MLA Challenges BJP Integrity with New Land Acquisition Revelations
Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has raised the issue of ‘controversial land acquisitions’
JAMSHEDPUR – Saryu Roy, MLA from Jamshedpur East, has raised the issue of ‘significant land acquisitions’ allegedly made by Prashant Kumar, the son of BJP’s Lok Sabha candidate from Dhanbad, Dhullu Mahato. The issue was made public through a press release on April 10, 2024.
The disclosed details include the alleged purchase of 11 plots totaling 01 acre 49 decimals in Tumadaha Mauza, Govindpur area, valued over Rs 50 lakh by government assessments.
Roy has called on BJP leaders to confirm these transactions and evaluate if such candidates align with the ethical standards set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Moreover, Roy hinted at possessing more information about alleged benami properties and companies linked to the BJP candidate and his family, particularly in Tumadaha Mauza.
He expressed a commitment to further scrutinize and disclose official documents, suggesting that these dealings might represent a case of disproportionate assets.
