Following their appearance, the ED conducted a detailed interrogation session with both individuals.
The siblings had previously requested a 15-day extension from the ED, which was not granted, prompting their attendance.
Amba Prasad’s interrogation follows a session with her father, Yogendra Sao, by the ED on April 3.
The ECIR against Amba and her family consolidates FIRs from various Hazaribagh stations, including charges of extortion and illegal trading.
The ED’s investigation intensified with a raid on March 12, targeting 20 locations associated with Amba Prasad, Yogendra Sao, and their close associates.
Digital devices were seized during the raid, part of the ED’s probe into the alleged criminal activities.
Yogendra Sao, Amba Prasad, and Ankit Raj were all summoned for further questioning as part of the ongoing investigation.
