Hazaribagh SP Leads Early Morning Operation, Recovers Objectionable Items

A team of officers, led by SP Arvind Kumar, conducted a surprise raid at the Loknayak Jaiprakash Narayan Central Jail in Hazaribagh on Friday morning, searching various cells and facilities within the complex and recovering objectionable items.

HAZARIBAGH – The raid, which lasted for about two and a half hours, involved a thorough search of various cells and facilities within the jail complex.

The team, comprising more than a hundred police force personnel and about a dozen officers from the Sadar sub-division, began the operation at around 4:30 AM and concluded it by 6:30 AM. During the course of the raid, the police recovered a nail cutter and some objectionable items from the premises.

Raid Conducted in View of Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

Officials stated that the raid was carried out keeping in mind the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The authorities have issued important instructions to the jail staff to maintain heightened security measures within the facility.

Hazaribagh Central Jail is considered one of the most secure jails in Jharkhand, housing Naxalite leaders, criminals, and individuals involved in heinous crimes. The jail complex, including the hospital, canteen, and parking areas, underwent a thorough inspection during the raid.
