Enhanced Passenger Services Coming to Adityapur Railway Station
Adityapur railway station is set to enhance passenger convenience with the addition of two new food stalls on platform number one. This development is part of broader efforts to improve amenities at the station, reflecting the increasing passenger traffic and the station’s growing role as a key stop for both express and local trains. The Railway Commerce and Engineering Department’s survey and subsequent report submission to the Chakradharpur divisional headquarters mark the initial steps towards this goal.
JAMSHEDPUR – The completion of Adityapur’s new station building, along with the station’s strategic importance for long-distance trains, highlights the urgent need for additional passenger services like food stalls.
With Tatanagar station often congested, Adityapur has become a crucial alternative for train stops, further emphasizing the necessity for enhanced facilities to cater to passenger needs.
Preparations are underway to inaugurate the food stalls, aiming to provide essential services to travelers and improve their station experience.
A restaurant on wheels is also planned outside the station premises, with a tender already issued, showcasing innovative approaches to meet passenger demands for dining options.
Furthermore, the initiative extends beyond Adityapur, with plans for tea stalls at Kolhan in the Chakradharpur division and 28 smaller rural stations in Odisha, under the Amrit Bharat initiative.
These enhancements, including catering stalls and tea stalls at stations like Gamharia, Sini, and Chaibasa, are poised to significantly improve the passenger experience across the region.
The move to install food and tea stalls at various stations underscores the commitment to providing convenient and quality services to rail travelers, aligning with the Amrit Bharat initiative’s objectives.
