Tata Motors Jamshedpur Announces 1-day Block Closure on Feb 10

Weekend Block Closure at Tata Motors to Affect Operations

Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur plant schedules a block closure on February 10, impacting operations and employee wages.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Motors’ Jamshedpur facility will observe a block closure on February 10, leading to a two-day operational halt.

This strategic pause aligns with the weekend, ensuring minimal disruption by incorporating the regular Sunday holiday.

Employees are set to receive half their usual salary for the closure day.

A formal notification detailing the block closure and its implications has been disseminated across the plant’s departments and divisions.

The company has stipulated that no leave applications will be entertained during this brief shutdown period.

However, provisions are made for exceptional work requirements during the closure, promising compensatory leave for those summoned.

Operations are expected to resume normally on the following Monday, minimizing the impact on overall productivity.
