RANCHI – In the Ranchi Municipal Corporation jurisdiction, Section 144 is in effect until further directives. The directive was given by Sadar Ranchi, Sub-Divisional Magistrate.
The prohibition order will go into effect at 2:00 PM on February 1 and last for the next 48 hours.
According to the ruling, the Ranchi Municipal Corporation Sub-Divisional Magistrate has issued a prohibitory order in accordance with Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.
This prohibition order is effective as of 2:00 pm on February 1, 2024, and will last for the next 48 hours.
Arranging a public gathering, gherao, procession, rally, protest, or demonstration without first obtaining authorization from the appropriate authority (except from government initiatives) is outlawed.
carrying a weapon of any kind, excepting government personnel and officials, such as a gun, rifle, revolver, handgun, bomb, gunpowder, etc are disallowed.
carrying a weapon of any type such as a stick, arrow, bow, spear, etc. (apart from government workers or officials).
Utilizing a loudspeaker of any type without first obtaining authorization from the appropriate authority (except from government personnel and officials).
