Emotional Farewell for Class XII with Keepsakes and Cultural Performances
RVS Academy’s class XII students experienced a touching goodbye ceremony filled with memories and performances.
JAMSHEDPUR – RVS Academy’s graduating class of 2024 was given a heartfelt send-off on Friday, February 2, with a ceremony that was both emotional and celebratory.
The event was inaugurated by lighting the ceremonial lamp, a gesture symbolizing enlightenment and hope, by Binda Singh, the school chairman, along with Bharat Singh, Shatrughan Singh, Shakti Singh, and the school’s leadership team.
The ceremony was marked by the presence of teachers, students, Vice Principal Anita Tiwari, and Principal Veesha Mohindra, all gathered to bid farewell to the outgoing class XII students.
During the event, the seniors were honored with keepsakes and titles, marking their transition from school to the next phases of their lives.
The juniors from class XI contributed to the farewell with an array of cultural performances, showcasing their talents in singing, dancing, and an evocative mime act that resonated deeply with the audience.
A unique aspect of the ceremony was a fashion show-style "ram walk" involving ten students, followed by a question-and-answer session designed to challenge their intellect. This segment culminated in the announcement of three winners for each gender category.
Principal Veesha Mohindra acknowledged the achievements of Dr. Shafqat Jabbar, Sharanya Shekhar, and others, emphasizing the values of self-confidence, discipline, and good conduct as keys to future successes.
Sharanya Shekhar’s valedictory speech reflected on the journey of the graduating class, while Yasmin Tabassum extended a vote of thanks, highlighting the collective gratitude of the students.
The ceremony concluded on a patriotic note with the national anthem and the school song, symbolizing both an end and a new beginning for the students of class XII.
