Tata Punch EV Set for January 17 Debut, Boasts Top Features and Upgrades

Tata Motors is gearing up to introduce the Tata Punch EV in India on January 17, promising not just a new powerplant but also significant interior and exterior enhancements.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Punch EV’s design marks a radical departure from its petrol counterpart, as seen in teasers and leaked images.

Its front fascia sports a Nexon-inspired illumination, complete with full-width lightbars, LED DRLs, and LED headlights featuring welcome and farewell animations.

On the sides, upgraded wheels set the EV apart, though other elements remain similar to the standard Punch.

Minor changes at the rear include a new bumper and “EV” badging.

Inside, the Tata Punch EV boasts significant upgrades, including a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

A two-spoke steering wheel, new dual-tone upholstery, and an upgraded temperature control unit enhance the cabin experience.

Technologically, the Punch EV is equipped with an automated parking brake, a 360-degree camera system, and a fully digital driver’s display.

Comfort features include ventilated front seats, an integrated air purifier, and wireless phone charging.

Standard safety features in the Punch EV include six airbags, ABS, rear parking sensors, and electronic stability control (ESC).

Two main variants will be offered: Standard and Long Range, each with different electric motors and battery packs.

The expected pricing for the Tata Punch EV is around Rs 12 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it as an attractive option in the electric vehicle market.
