Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan, at the age of 81, has purchased a significant property in Ayodhya, the city revered as the world’s spiritual capital. The veteran actor, known for his continuous contributions to the Hindi film industry, has acquired a plot worth 14.5 crore rupees, just 15 minutes away from the iconic Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.

DESK – Amitabh Bachchan, the legendary actor and a vital figure in Hindi cinema, continues to make waves even in his 80s.

His recent acquisition of a 14.5 crore rupee plot in Ayodhya marks a new chapter in his illustrious career.

The plot, strategically located near the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple, is a significant investment in the city.

Ayodhya, known globally as a spiritual hub, resonates deeply with Bachchan.

He expressed his enthusiasm for collaborating with The House of Abhinandan Lodha on the project, The Sarayu.

Bachchan’s affinity for Ayodhya is rooted in its rich spiritual and cultural heritage.

He plans to build his home in this city, blending tradition and modernity.

The completion of this ambitious housing project is slated for March 2028.

This move precedes the grand “Pran prathista” ceremony of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

Prominent celebrities, including Rajinikanth, Ranbir Kapoor, and Alia Bhatt, have been invited to the consecration ceremony.

The week-long event is set to commence on January 16.

Meanwhile, Bachchan’s professional journey continues with upcoming films like The Umesh Chronicles and Butterfly.
