In an energizing speech at the Vivekananda Jayanti event in Jamshedpur, senior Supreme Court advocate Ashwini Upadhyay called for comprehensive legal reforms, highlighting the inconsistency of existing laws.

JAMSHEDPUR – The event at Singhbhum District Hindi Sahitya Sammelan/Tulsi Bhawan culminated with the audience, led by keynote speaker Ashwini Upadhyay, chanting ‘This time we cross 400’, symbolizing a collective nationalist fervor.

Earlier, the program witnessed a welcome address by Muralidhar Kedia, Trustee of Tulsi Bhawan, and concluded with a vote of thanks by Arun Kumar Tiwari.

In attendance were prominent figures including Jamshedpur MP Vidyut Varan Mahato, Dr Sharad Sarin, former professor of XLRI, Swami Sitaram Sharan ji, and other dignitaries.

Arun Kumar Mishra, former Chief Factory Inspector, chaired the program, setting the stage for the significant discussions that followed.

The event saw a diverse assembly of attendees, including BJP members Vinod Singh, Neeraj Singh, Rajan Singh, Rajiv Ranjan Singh, Rajesh Singh, members of Krida Bharti, and numerous advocates and officials of Tulsi Bhawan Sahitya Samiti.

Ashwini Upadhyay, a senior Supreme Court advocate and noted nationalist speaker, graced the event as the chief guest and keynote speaker, captivating the audience with his vision for legal reform in India.

He emphasized the need for changes in the legal system, particularly addressing the conflicting nature of secularism and minority provisions in the country’s laws.

Upadhyay’s commitment to challenging what he perceives as irrational laws, first through his PIL to abolish redundant British-era laws and now targeting Congress-made laws, was a highlight of his address.

The program commenced with the chief guest and others paying floral tributes to Swami Vivekananda, setting a reverent tone for the evening.
