East Jamshedpur MLA Inaugurates Major Taekwondo Event in Kadma

The two-day Kolhan Inter-District School and Club Taekwondo Championship kicks off at Mangal Singh Club, Kadma, with significant participation from schools and clubs.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Kolhan Inter-District School and Club Taekwondo Championship, spanning December 25 and 26, 2023, commenced on Monday at the Mangal Singh Club premises in Kadma.

East Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Rai inaugurated the event, marking the beginning of an exciting competition.

This championship has attracted a notable participation of 633 players from 47 schools and clubs across the entire Kolhan division.

The event is being conducted by Gopal Kumar, the Vice President and Kolhan in-charge of the Jharkhand Taekwondo Association.

Organized under the auspices of the Taekwondo Association in East Singhbhum district, the championship promises to be a showcase of skill and sportsmanship.

This large-scale event highlights the growing popularity and importance of Taekwondo in the region, offering a platform for young athletes to display their talents.

The involvement of such a substantial number of participants from various schools and clubs underscores the widespread interest in the sport and its development within the Kolhan division.
