SSP Kishore Kaushal Leads Foot Patrolling in Sitaramdera, Reviews Court Security
Jamshedpur SSP’s foot patrolling initiative aims to strengthen court security following recent incidents. The SSP himself inspected the court and emphasized no compromise on security.
JAMSHEDPUR – Jamshedpur’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal has launched a new foot patrolling initiative, which is already showing promising results.
On Saturday, the police, led by the SSP, patrolled on foot in the Sitaramdera police station area, visibly marching through the streets.
This patrol included the in-charge of Sitaramdera police station and other officers, who thoroughly toured the locality.
Following the patrol, SSP Kaushal proceeded to the Jamshedpur court for an inspection.
Upon arrival, he conducted a comprehensive review of the court’s security arrangements.
This action comes in response to a spike in criminal activities within court premises, prompting heightened vigilance by Jamshedpur Police.
Accompanied by the City Superintendent of Police (CT SP) and other district police officers, SSP Kaushal scrutinized the security measures at the Jamshedpur Civil Court.
The team also marched on foot to areas including Bhuiyandih Basti to enhance public-police relations.
SP Kaushal stated that this initiative aligns with directives from the High Court and State Police Headquarters for routine security assessments.
The inspection revealed certain lapses, which have been ordered to be rectified promptly.
Additional measures include strict scrutiny of court entrants and an increase in CCTV surveillance, as per the SSP’s directives.
He affirmed the commitment to uncompromising court security.
This inspection is part of a concerted effort by the apex court and state police headquarters to bolster court and jail security, following a rise in related security breaches.
The Jamshedpur Court has been a focal point due to its history of criminal incidents, underlining the police’s determination to fortify its security.
