JAMSHEDPUR — Mosques across Jamshedpur witnessed large gatherings of devotees on the occasion of Alvida Jumma, the last Friday of the holy month of Ramzan, with people arriving in large numbers from early morning.

Worshippers made their way to Jamshedpur mosques to offer prayers to Allah. They prayed for peace, brotherhood and prosperity across the country.

Special arrangements had been made at mosques in view of the significance of Alvida Jumma. A large number of rozedars and members of the Muslim community assembled at various mosques to offer namaz.

During the occasion, the significance of the final days of Ramzan was highlighted for the congregation. People were also urged to maintain mutual brotherhood and extend help to those in need.

After the Friday prayers, devotees greeted one another on the occasion of Alvida Jumma. The atmosphere across mosques in the city was one of collective devotion and community spirit.
