Vice President Dhankhar’s Jharkhand Visit Spurs Intense Security
Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar’s Jharkhand visit triggers major security overhaul and infrastructural improvements.
RANCHI -Country’s Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar arrived in Ranchi, Jharkhand, marking his first visit to the state since assuming office.
Governor CP Radhakrishnan and Chief Minister Hemant Soren welcomed him at Ranchi airport.
Dhankhar, traveling by an army helicopter, proceeded to Jamshedpur.
He is scheduled to grace the Platinum Jubilee celebrations of Xavier School of Management as the chief guest.
His itinerary also includes addressing the 43rd convocation of the Indian Institute of Mines, Dhanbad.
In preparation for his visit, Dhanbad transformed into a virtual police cantonment.
Extensive security measures, including drone surveillance, have been implemented.
The route for Dhankhar’s convoy has been meticulously cleaned and repaired, with special attention to road conditions.
Additional measures, such as bleaching the roadside and installing bamboo poles to control pedestrian movement, have been undertaken.
Local infrastructure, including the city bus depot, has been temporarily relocated to accommodate the visit.
Dhankhar is expected to arrive at Barwada Airport at 4:40 pm via Indian Air Force helicopter.
His journey from the airport to the event venues will pass through key city locations.
After the events in Dhanbad, he will depart for Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport, Durgapur, at 6 pm.
