Dengue Cases See Rise, 7 Recover in Jamshedpur

Dengue Menace Continues in Jamshedpur: 2 New Cases, 7 Recoveries

Jamshedpur reports an uptick in dengue cases with 2 new infections identified today, taking Kolhan division’s total to 1,406 positives out of 12,664 tests. Despite the rise, the district hospital saw 7 patients successfully recover and get discharged.

JAMSHEDPUR – Two new dengue cases emerged today in the district. The affected individuals are residents of Golmuri Tinplate Colony and Kadma.

This year, 1,406 have tested positive for dengue in the Kolhan division.

Out of these, 79 patients are currently hospitalized.

Three of the patients are receiving critical care in the ICU.

The remaining 76 are under observation in the general ward.

Encouragingly, 7 patients have been discharged after successful treatment.

The district health department continues to monitor and respond to the dengue situation.
