Top 4 Seeds Storm into Beldih Club AITA Tennis Semi-Finals

Sarkar, Fardeen, Borthakur, Mohanty Showcase Mettle in High-Octane Quarterfinals

A star-studded semi-final lineup at the Beldih Club AITA Men’s Tennis Tournament 2023 brings together the top 4 seeds, setting the stage for nail-biting matches tomorrow starting 9 am.

JAMSHEDPUR – The lower half of the draw saw 3rd seeded Abhinansu Borthakur steal the show, vanquishing UP’s Vashu Gupta 6-2,6-2.

Borthakur, a finalist at the 2019 Beldih Club tournament, will now lock horns with Pratyush Mohanty from Odisha in the semi-finals.

Odisha’s Mohanty earned his semi-final berth after ousting Tanmay Jha from Rajasthan in a hard-fought 6-4,6-2 match.

In the upper half, the semi-finals will feature an all-Bengal clash between top-seeded Ritabrata Sarkar and 4th seeded Md Fardeen.

Md Fardeen triumphed over Arunava Majumder in a straight set win of 6-4,6-3.

The showdown between the Bengal duo was set up by Sarkar’s close-knit win against Utkarsh Tiwari from MP with a scoreline of 7-6(5),6-4.

The matches are scheduled to commence at 09:00 am tomorrow, ensuring an action-packed day at the Beldih Club’s tennis courts.
