DM Manjunath Bhajantri and SSP Kishore Kaushal Visit Injured at TMH; Assure of Best Medical Treatment
In the wake of the tragic accident at Beni Bodhanwala Ghat, district officials take stock of injured devotees’ conditions at TMH Hospital and issue instructions for best treatment.
JAMSHEDPUR -District Magistrate cum Deputy Commissioner Mr. Manjunath Bhajantri and Senior Superintendent of Police Mr. Kishore Kaushal paid a visit to TMH Hospital to check on the well-being of those injured during the recent accident at Beni Bodhanwala Ghat.
They issued directives to the medical staff to ensure the best possible care for the victims.
The injured have been identified as members of the Kitadih Puja Committee and include Hugra Mukhi, Abhimanyu Gorai, Gopal Gorai, and Vijay Gorai, all from District West Midnapore.
The deceased has been named as Virendra Sharma, resident of Kitadih, Jamshedpur.
In a message, Mr. Bhajantri emphasized that the safety of devotees participating in the idol immersion programs is the district administration’s top priority.
He also appealed to the public to verify any circulating misinformation with the district administration to avoid further panic or unrest.
