XLRI Jamshedpur Achieves 100% Summer Placements for Largest Batch

XLRI’s 2023-25 Batch Lands 604 Offers from 139 Firms, Average Stipend Hits INR 1.41 LPM

XLRI Jamshedpur successfully concludes its summer internship placement drive for 2023-25 batches, boasting 100% placements and an average stipend of INR 1.41 LPM.

JAMSHEDPUR – XLRI Jamshedpur has announced the successful conclusion of the Summer Internship Placement process for its flagship programmes of 2023-25.

The two-year programmes in question are the Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and the Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management.

The Placement Committee at XLRI demonstrated tremendous resilience in achieving this milestone, garnering praises from all corners of the academic and corporate world.

For the record, this placement drive achieved 100% placements for the institute’s largest batch yet, involving 591 students across its Jamshedpur and Delhi-NCR campuses.

A total of 604 offers were rolled out by 139 firms, of which 63 were recruiting at XLRI for the first time.

The roles on offer spanned multiple domains including Consulting, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Operations & Supply Chain, Strategy, and General Management.

Top companies that led the recruitment drive include Accenture Strategy, Amazon, Bajaj Auto, BCG, Deutsche Bank, HDFC Bank, HUL, Ola Cabs, and P&G among others.

The average stipend for these internships touched INR 1.41 LPM, with the median being at INR 1.5 LPM.

Notably, the top stipend offered was INR 3.5 LPM.

As for the distribution, 84% of the students secured a stipend of at least INR 1 LPM, and 52% managed to bag at least INR 1.5 LPM.

Fr. S George SJ, the Director of XLRI Jamshedpur, lauded these achievements, stating that it reflects the quality of education at XLRI and the persistent dedication shown by the students.
